Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and secure potential bridge loan borrowers.

• Build and sustain strong business relationships with clients.

• Gather necessary documentation and financial details from potential borrowers.

• Report on business development and sales activities.

• Meet with both new and existing prospects.

• Assist in formulating and implementing business plans based on comprehensive market and competitor analysis.

• Source, evaluate, nurture, and finalize relationships for various bridge loan programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in originating bridge loans.

• A self-sourced pipeline with a minimum of $3 million monthly.

• An established book of business.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High motivation and a proactive approach to understanding challenges, proposing solutions, building relationships, and navigating institutional decision-making.

• A collaborative mindset for achieving work objectives.

• A strong team-player orientation.

• Capable of critical thinking regarding risk and asset quality in the origination process.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting while meeting set deadlines.

• Capacity to work independently and be self-motivated with demonstrable results.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Navigator, and Teams.

• Must have authorization to work in the US.
