Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify, cultivate, and finalize agreements with potential bridge loan borrowers.

• Build and sustain robust business relationships with borrowers.

• Gather necessary documentation and financial details from prospective borrowers.

• Report on business development initiatives and sales activities.

• Engage with both new and existing prospects.

• Create and implement business plans supported by comprehensive market and competitor analysis.

• Source, evaluate, nurture, and establish partnerships for MMTC’s Bridge Loan programs.

• Provide bridge financing options to builders.

• Collaborate with borrowers involved in residential real estate Fix & Flip and Ground Up construction projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in originating bridge loans.

• A minimum monthly self-sourced pipeline of $3 million.

• An established book of business.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High motivation coupled with a proactive mindset.

• A collaborative approach to achieving tasks.

• Team-player mentality.

• Strong critical thinking skills concerning risk and asset quality.

• Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting and meet set deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and be self-driven with measurable outcomes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Navigator, and Teams.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
