This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Surpass the expectations of our residential mortgage clients and business partners by delivering exceptional service, straightforward processes, and effective communication.
• The main responsibility of the Loan Officer is to market and sell loan products offered by Newrez.
• Reach out to potential clients to cultivate and sustain referral sources.
• Meet with prospective clients at various external locations, such as their residences.
• Conduct in-person visits to real estate agents, financial advisors, and other potential referral sources to generate borrower leads.
• Participate in marketing and promotional efforts to support your own sales initiatives.
• Achieve monthly minimum production goals (3 units).
• Process mortgage loan applications and create effective loan proposals.
• Assess a consumer's needs and recommend the suitable product.
• Originate loans for appropriate amounts, rates, and terms in line with NPF’s program guidelines.
• Deliver an exceptional level of customer service to consumers.
• Promptly and accurately respond to all customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Gather all necessary information to process loan requests efficiently, including but not limited to credit reports, income verification, appraisals, lien searches, etc.
• Analyze the gathered information and provide insights where applicable.
• Assist applicants and resolve any issues that may occur between application and settlement.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in the mortgage industry.
• Attend and assist in scheduled meetings, training sessions, and courses.
• Effectively and accurately communicate information to others.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A two-year college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage loan origination.
• Must qualify for and obtain state licensure in the states where Newrez operates; mortgage licensure is required.
• Strong sales abilities.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with others in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Persuasive communication skills for sales.
• A strong sense of accountability for completing tasks promptly and accurately.
• Capability to manage a faster-than-average pace of activities.
• Detail-oriented with an efficient focus on work tasks.
• Prudent decision-making skills that minimize mistakes.
