This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the daily implementation of the loan modification process from initial assessment to finalization.
• Ensure that loan files advance through Encompass milestones in accordance with established workflow rules and timelines.
• Review and address stalled, delayed, or exception-driven modification files.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to loan modification processors, underwriters, and support personnel.
• Coordinate loan modification activities across Servicing, Legal, Underwriting, Construction/Repair, Closing, and Post-Closing teams.
• Communicate terms of modification, approvals, documentation requirements, and execution status.
• Facilitate the execution and receipt of final modification agreements and update relevant systems.
• Analyze workflow inefficiencies and propose operational, staffing, or system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, job aids, and training resources.
• Support change management initiatives for system upgrades, policy revisions, and investor changes.
• Ensure adherence to investor guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Assist with audits, regulatory examinations, and investor reviews.
• Identify gaps in processes, systems, or controls and implement corrective measures.
• Address inquiries from borrowers, builders, loan officers, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Protect confidential, proprietary, consumer, and other sensitive information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of five years' experience across various roles is necessary.
• Proficient in computing rates, ratios, percentages, and financial figures.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs and utilize basic algebra and geometry.
• Familiarity with probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry fundamentals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications.
• Ability to learn new tasks, retain processes, maintain concentration, complete tasks autonomously, and make timely workflow decisions.
• Must adhere to relevant investor guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Must protect confidential and proprietary information.
• Occasional travel of 5% or less may be necessary.
