LNG/Gas Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct independent research and craft original, compelling reports and commentaries on the energy transition and decarbonization finance within the Asia region.

• Perform critical analyses of global fossil fuel markets, focusing particularly on LNG and natural gas.

• Execute analyses that clarify the economic options and challenges encountered by corporate entities in the LNG value chain.

• Formulate impact strategies and track the performance outcomes of IEEFA’s initiatives related to LNG and natural gas.

• Offer insights to the media and address requests for opinions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or political science, complemented by professional certifications (e.g., CFA).

• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with exposure to finance or market analysis.

• Proven experience in publishing analyses or thought leadership on energy markets.

• Exceptional proficiency in communicating effectively in English, demonstrating sound judgment both orally and in writing.
