This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Welcome members primarily through the Express Teller Machine and various remote channels, such as video, phone, chat, and email.
• Efficiently and accurately execute deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, stop payments, card orders/replacements, statement/check copies, address changes, general maintenance, and other member requests.
• Utilize service commitments and member-centered problem-solving to assist, address, and fulfill requests.
• Assume responsibility for situations within designated authority limits or refer them to other credit union staff as necessary.
• Employ the department ticketing system for research and interdepartmental service requests.
• Keep abreast of credit union products and services.
• Recognize cross-sell and referral opportunities, providing relevant suggestions.
• Engage in credit union promotional activities.
• Carry out additional duties as required or assigned.
• Bilingual proficiency is essential (English and Spanish as implied by the role title along with English/Spanish right-to-work documentation).
• Experience ranging from one to twelve months in a similar or related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Professional telephone etiquette and on-screen communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
• Technical proficiency and good computer/keyboarding skills.
• Capability to operate 10-key calculators.
• Attention to detail and quality is important.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Capacity to remain stationary, typically standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer.
• Close and continuous visual acuity for data entry, computer screens, and extensive reading tasks.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays.
• Availability for occasional overtime, unpredictable schedules, extended hours, and evening or weekend meetings/events.
• Ability to travel to credit union facilities or regions if needed.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening test within 48 hours of receiving an employment offer.
