This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the primary liaison for designated host railroads
• Oversee site planning, marketing strategies, retail operations, and activities coordination for assigned events
• Evaluate and contribute to marketing strategies, site layouts, entertainment options, and final operational plans
• Collaborate with internal teams and railroad partners to enhance event experiences
• Travel to designated events to assist with setup, execution, and teardown
• Arrange inflatables, banners, retail displays, merchandise, gift shops, and play areas
• Ensure the Thomas replica is maintained in excellent condition and aligns with brand standards
• Observe events to identify areas for improvement
• Pack and ship event materials, merchandise, and touring equipment
• Generate event reports and submit final invoices and return details
• Clean and repair touring crates as well as track touring assets
• Generate ideas and proposals for new event materials
• Acquire daily ticket sales documentation and track weekend capacity
• Communicate national marketing initiatives and implement reactive marketing strategies
• Review, suggest, and endorse railroad marketing and advertising strategies
• Prepare post-event reports, including analyses of ZIP codes and promo codes
• Promote social media, influencer, and specialized marketing initiatives
• Develop seasonal theme activations and ensure onsite execution
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time
• Ability to lift around 30 lbs
• Preferred experience in live events, themed attractions, or ticketed touring shows
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Self-driven and proactive approach
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities to foster relationships with internal and external partners
• Capable of leading and managing teams
• Highly organized and attentive to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong project management capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Professional representation of Mattel during travel and partnerships
