This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
• Collaborate with Attorneys and Paralegals to create technology solutions that meet and surpass client expectations.
• Act as the main contact for case teams concerning database design, document review processes, electronic discovery, legal software and hardware requirements, case management tools, and trial support.
• Define, gather requirements, and set up Relativity databases and other litigation technology-related databases.
• Prepare and coordinate projects for internal resources, which includes drafting project plans, work orders, processing instructions, and specifications.
• Organize and manage the outsourcing of projects to vendors, including preparing and assessing project-specific requests for proposals and drafting statements of work.
• Provide estimates, timelines, and regular status updates for assigned cases.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop cost-effective solutions for time-sensitive issues.
• Convey complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Overtime may be necessary to accommodate case-related demands.
• Travel may be required as needed.
• A 2-year degree is required; a 4-year degree is preferred, or significant relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, preferably within a professional services or legal setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of the litigation process, best practices in electronic discovery, and the associated technologies.
• Experience in designing, utilizing, and troubleshooting Litigation Support software, including Relativity or comparable databases.
• Proven ability to stay organized and detail-oriented; must be capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities; must perform well under tight deadlines and stressful conditions, completing tasks swiftly and effectively.
• Capacity to quickly and independently learn new technologies as necessary.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with personnel at all levels, including essential interpersonal skills; ability to foster relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers is crucial.
