This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the initial scoping phase and engage with clients early on to ensure alignment between opportunities and client objectives.
• Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, converting their needs into organized engagement strategies.
• Facilitate initial client meetings, presentations, and discussions regarding scoping; guarantee a smooth transition to delivery teams.
• Create and deliver clear recommendations, solution frameworks, and value propositions.
• Keep precise records of opportunity progress and the conversion of these opportunities into engagements.
• Take charge of and assist with pursuit activities for new opportunities across consultants, experts, and sales partners.
• Identify and secure new client opportunities through networking, attendance at conferences, and proactive outreach efforts.
• Enhance existing client relationships by exploring cross-service opportunities and follow-up engagements.
• Support and engage in client pitches, relationship-building meetings, and business development initiatives.
• Utilize market intelligence, research, and internal data to enhance pursuit outcomes and increase win rates.
• Collaborate with sales, consultants, and experts to craft proposals, pricing strategies, and messaging.
• Develop strategic relationship maps within client organizations and targeted markets.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events to create new business opportunities.
• Assist in increasing the visibility of consultants and experts by connecting them with potential clients and opportunities.
• Strengthen and broaden relationships with senior stakeholders across client organizations.
• Act as a cross-functional connector among sales, consultants, experts, and leadership.
• Mentor team members and partners on pursuit strategies, client engagement, and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance scalable solutions and engagement strategies.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource aligning client needs with the firm's capabilities.
• Over 10 years of experience in professional services, particularly in business development and client-facing roles.
• Proven track record in generating new business and expanding existing client relationships.
• Strong comprehension of legal industry dynamics and service offerings.
• Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills.
• Demonstrated abilities in relationship-building and networking.
• Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple pursuits and client engagements at once.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in professional services, with a preference for legal or consulting fields.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
