Litigation Claims Adjuster – Complex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve intricate claims within established authority limits

• Assess policy coverage and liability to determine suitable claim outcomes

• Formulate and implement strategies to minimize potential financial risk exposure

• Collaborate with legal advisors, underwriters, and external vendors

• Create detailed reports and documentation for claim-related decisions

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards

• Manage communications with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders throughout the claims process

• Engage in audits and quality control assessments

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes within the claims department

• Mentor and provide support to less experienced team members

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing claims, ideally in specialty or complex lines

• Proven expertise in handling complex or high-risk claims situations

• Experience in collaboration with brokers, legal professionals, and regulatory bodies

• Must possess and maintain all necessary licenses across all U.S. states where required

• Preferred insurance-specific certifications such as AIC or CPCU

• Advanced skills in claims analysis and adjudication techniques

• Strong negotiation and settlement abilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in policy interpretation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance

• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members

• Familiarity with claims management systems and associated technology platforms
