This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.
• Manage routine non-complex to moderately complex non-injury Commercial and Specialty claims.
• Open, investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve auto claims.
• Adjust claims involving higher complexity in liability, property damage, and total losses at a proficient level.
• Verify coverage on policies with standard commercial symbols and/or specialty exposures.
• Collaborate with casualty adjusters to service physical damage exposures.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, and other involved parties to confirm loss details and coverage.
• Clarify claims processes, next steps, outcomes, benefits, coverages, and liability decisions.
• Investigate coverage and liability while maintaining an inventory of pending claims.
• Negotiate damage estimates and supplements; assess reparability and oversee repairs.
• Arrange for towing, storage, and rental vehicles.
• Address responsibilities related to subrogation and total loss.
• Ensure adherence to insurance program and Claim Service Level agreements.
• Maintain necessary documentation and correspondence to comply with state regulations and policy provisions.
• Provide support to other claims areas as required.
• Engage in employee resource groups, volunteering, onboarding, relationship-building, and team success.
• Attend divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings as necessary.
• Work any shift seven days a week between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Pacific Time, based on business needs.
• Complete virtual, on-camera paid training starting November 30, 2026, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pacific Time.
• High School Diploma/GED or at least one year of customer service experience in a virtual environment using internet, phone, and chat features.
• Must possess an Adjuster license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of finishing the provided licensing training.
• Basic math skills and moderate computer proficiency with the technical ability to utilize various software applications.
• Must meet work-from-home requirements, including internet speed and a designated workspace.
• Ability to type at least 30 wpm.
• Two or more years of customer service experience preferred.
• Previous insurance claims experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Auto physical damage training and/or enrollment in I-CAR or SCLA preferred.
• Strong customer service, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, oral and written communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask.
• Flexibility to work between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM PDT, including weekends and/or holidays.
• Willingness to travel as needed for divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings.
