This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies and techniques for trying cases to verdict or negotiating resolutions.
• Perform legal research while showcasing strong and persuasive legal writing and presentation abilities.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and other legal materials.
• Independently attend court proceedings, depositions, and various appointments.
• Offer case analysis and strategic recommendations to insured clients and claim partners regarding file management.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal and external clients and business partners.
• Provide guidance and training to claim partners and clients.
• Fully leverage available technology, case management systems, and automation tools.
• Travel as necessary to fulfill business requirements.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation as a practicing attorney.
• Proven experience managing cases independently from inception through trial/hearing and appeal.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting information on litigated matters to varied audiences.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and business partners to provide outstanding customer service.
• Demonstrated proficiency in persuasive legal writing and oral advocacy.
• Strong legal research capabilities and proficiency in technology utilization.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with keen attention to detail, urgency, and responsiveness.
• Sound decision-making skills and strong negotiation abilities.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset with a readiness to embrace new challenges as they arise.
