
Litigation and Risk Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations and prepare responses for escalated consumer complaints, which include those filed with state attorneys general and escalated to a consumer’s counsel.
• Investigate and draft replies to regulatory inquiries, such as correspondence from state departments of labor and construction boards.
• Create, update, and manage templates for letters addressing escalated disputes.
• Establish and uphold processes and policies for managing escalated disputes in collaboration with in-house counsel and the legal team.
• Keep electronic records of pre-litigation disputes and regulatory matters within Angi’s matter management system.
• Support fact investigation related to ongoing litigation and intellectual property concerns.
• Prepare and maintain electronic data required for document production during litigation.
• Maintain electronic records of ongoing litigation in Angi’s matter management system.
• Report directly to the SVP, Associate General Counsel of Angi.
• A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, paralegal certification, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of experience as a paralegal supporting litigation or dispute resolution.
• Familiarity with state and federal litigation procedures.
• Understanding of standard contractual language, including terms and conditions.
• Capability to communicate effectively with cross-functional management in clear and concise terms.
• Ability to manage confidential information with the appropriate level of discretion.
• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn and integrate AI tools into daily legal tasks, including those for AI-assisted research, document review, or drafting.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and meet reporting deadlines with quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and integrity.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Proactive in identifying issues, resolving problems independently, and driving projects to completion.
• Creative problem-solving skills and comfort with adopting new technologies.
• Previous experience in-house and/or at a law firm is preferred.
