This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide support for various customer environments as part of a small technical team.

• Manage RHEL and Ubuntu systems, encompassing installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and distribution upgrades.

• Design, build, and sustain Ansible Core automation utilizing playbooks, roles, inventories, and collections.

• Develop Python and Bash scripts to execute advanced logic not inherently supported by Ansible.

• Integrate automation solutions with cloud platforms, including Microsoft cloud applications and IBM Cloud.

• Produce clear, structured, and reusable documentation for automation processes, operational procedures, and system configurations.

• Take responsibility for systems and actively contribute to the automation strategy.

• Strive for continuous improvements in operational efficiency.

• Oversee multiple projects while ensuring high operational standards are met.

• Operate independently and resolve technical challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Systems administration with RHEL and Ubuntu, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and distribution upgrades.

• More than 8 years of experience with Ansible Core, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining automation through playbooks, roles, inventories, and collections.

• At least 5 years of experience in scripting with Python and Bash.

• Familiarity with implementing logic not natively supported by playbooks and interacting with Microsoft applications and IBM cloud platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Must possess Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is preferred.

• Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) is advantageous.

• IBM Cloud certifications are a plus.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

• Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal record check.
