Linux Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Installation, configuration, management, and migration of systems and patches.

• Preparation and execution of customer specifications along with the rollout of new hardware and software.

• Monitoring systems and ensuring data security, including troubleshooting at the client level.

• Configuration management utilizing software solutions like Ansible.

• Automation of IT infrastructure employing languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in an IT-related domain, training as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in administering servers within Unix/Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu Server LTS, SLES).

• Proficient scripting abilities in Perl, Python, or Bash.

• Understanding of system hardening and LAN infrastructure, particularly TCP/IP.

• Excellent German language proficiency, both written and spoken.
