LIMS Application Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, development, and deployment of LabVantage LIMS solutions, Version 8 and later.

• Create and develop customizations and extensions based on Java, along with REST and SOAP web services, and Jasper Reports.

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Offer technical leadership throughout project planning, development, testing, deployment, and support in production.

• Perform code reviews, mentor development teams, and troubleshoot complex production challenges.

• Work in collaboration with laboratory users, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to convert workflows and business needs into technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in the architecture, implementation, and application development of LabVantage LIMS.

• Proficiency in Java customizations for LabVantage Version 8 and higher.

• Strong programming expertise in Java, SQL, and JavaScript.

• Demonstrated experience in developing REST and SOAP web services.

• Familiarity with integrating LabVantage with enterprise applications and external systems.

• Advanced skills in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server database development.

• Experience in optimizing complex queries, managing stored procedures, and handling database objects.

• Proven track record of leading technical teams and executing intricate LIMS implementation projects.

• Strong analytical skills, along with troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Understanding of laboratory workflows, laboratory informatics, and data management practices.

• Knowledge of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 17025, and GLP/GMP is a plus.

• Preferred certifications include LabVantage LIMS Certification, ITIL® 4 Foundation, Oracle Java or Oracle SQL Certification, and Agile/Scrum Certification.
