This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle marketing strategy: from acquisition follow-up to application drop-off recovery, onboarding, activation, retention, and win-back across Flex's range of products.
• Create and oversee lifecycle messaging and copy directly.
• Collaborate with the Product team to establish and uphold clear ownership boundaries.
• Work closely with Engineering and Data teams to design event-driven triggers and develop the data architecture.
• Build and manage the Braze infrastructure.
• Design and sustain the data pipeline from Segment to Braze.
• Establish the measurement framework for lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Exercise sound judgment in prioritization and sequencing of tasks.
• Ensure that lifecycle communications comply with regulatory and disclosure standards.
• 6-8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, particularly within fintech, financial services, or other regulated sectors.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Braze or a similar platform such as Iterable or Customer.io.
• Proficient in Segment or equivalent Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including identity resolution, event tracking, and designing data pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating directly with Engineering and Data teams to create event-driven systems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent writing abilities and experience using AI tools to rapidly draft and refine messaging.
• Bonus: Experience in B2B alongside B2C/D2C, as well as familiarity with BigQuery, dbt, or comparable data warehousing tools.
