Life Science Translator, English to French (Canada), Pharmacovigilance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Translate documents from English (US) to French (Canada), focusing on content related to pharmacovigilance.

• Execute Translation, Copy Editing (CE), and Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE) tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to high quality standards and consistency.

• Translate specialized medical and pharmaceutical materials, including Product Monographs, Clinical Study Documents, and Medical Information Letters.

• Meet tight deadlines, particularly for projects received during EU close-of-business hours, with early morning delivery expectations.

• Utilize client-provided XTM and Phrase (Memsource) CAT tools (licenses will be supplied).

• Uphold professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability to meet client expectations and ensure timely completion of assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in medical and pharmaceutical translation, particularly for pharmaceutical companies or life sciences translation agencies in Quebec or Canada.

• Specific expertise in translating Product Monographs and Medical Information Letters.

• Bachelor's degree in translation **or** a bachelor's degree in science (e.g., pharmacology, biology, biochemistry) paired with a translation degree from a Quebec or Canadian university.

• Membership in a Professional Order (e.g., OTTIAQ) is highly desirable.

• Proficient in English (source language) and possess native-level proficiency in French (Canada) (target language).

• Availability during US time zone business hours (location can be anywhere).

• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in time-sensitive environments.

• Familiarity with CAT tools, specifically XTM and Phrase (Memsource) (training will be provided if necessary).

• Capability to handle sensitive and technical content with confidentiality and precision.
