Lien Resolution Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Engage in negotiations regarding hospital liens and medical provider balances under the supervision of attorneys and according to firm protocols.

• Assess medical bills, confirm outstanding balances, and gather necessary documentation.

• Submit requests for reductions, maintain consistent follow-up, and secure written confirmation of negotiated agreements.

• Keep precise records of balances, negotiations, agreements, and case statuses within Litify.

• Collaborate with attorneys and closing personnel to address outstanding issues and prepare files for settlement distribution.

• Meet established expectations for negotiated reductions, turnaround times, productivity, and accuracy.

• Direct legal inquiries and disputed liens that require legal assessment to the suitable attorney.

• Assist injured clients in retaining more of their settlements and facilitate the progression of settled cases towards disbursement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of practical experience in plaintiff personal injury reductions within a U.S. law firm.

• Hands-on experience negotiating with hospitals and medical providers.

• Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload of reductions from balance verification to written agreements and closing coordination.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with legal case management software.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote work setting.

• Experience with Litify is preferred.

• Resume must be submitted in English.

• At least 2 years of recent experience in personal injury reductions, liens, or medical bill negotiations.

• Experience in managing hospital reductions and negotiating directly with medical providers and collection agencies.

• Background in a plaintiff personal injury law firm is essential.

• Reliable internet access, a computer, and a quiet, professional workspace are mandatory.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
