This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete credentialing process for providers from initial intake to final approval.

• Create and maintain provider profiles within Modio.

• Monitor workflows and progress using JIRA.

• Conduct primary source verification for licenses, education, board certifications, DEA, and more.

• Execute sanction screenings (OIG, SAM, NPDB) and perform compliance checks.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to transition providers from Credentialing Approved to Clear to Practice (CTP).

• Engage with providers to guarantee timely completion of applications.

• Support the onboarding process for new clinicians.

• Oversee the entire medical licensing process.

• Ensure prompt acquisition and renewal of licenses for all SteadyMD physicians and nurses.

• Maintain adherence to state and federal licensing regulations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with medical boards and regulatory agencies.

• Inform internal teams about updates in licensing laws and requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing and/or licensing preferred (experience in telehealth or multi-state environments is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of primary source verification and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with credentialing platforms, with Modio being preferred.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Capable of managing multiple providers and deadlines effectively.

• Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Working knowledge of current IMLC, FSMB, and reciprocity states.

• Experience in managing licensing for physicians and nurses across all 51 states.
