Licensed Therapist – LCSW/LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide individual counseling or participate in family sessions to help clients or patients overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or implement necessary modifications.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress within 8 weeks of Outpatient (OP) therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to manage their challenges effectively.

• Create and execute treatment plans informed by clinical expertise and knowledge, setting SMART goals in collaboration with the patient.

• Treatment plans should be formulated within 72 hours post-intake and reviewed or adjusted every 4 weeks.

• Complete and maintain all documentation related to clients, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Progress notes must be written within 48 hours after each session.

• Prepare and keep all necessary treatment records and reports updated.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health by reviewing their information thoroughly.

• Work alongside other team members to conduct clinical evaluations or create treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care for a current patient.

• Refer patients, clients, or families to community resources or specialists as required.

• Stay informed about advancements in counseling by reading professional literature, attending workshops and seminars, or building relationships with other social service organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• Valid and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas, Louisiana, or Tennessee.

• Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology (Preferred).

• At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (Preferred).
