Licensed Therapist, LCSW or LPC – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual psychosocial evaluations and provide individual therapy using a telehealth platform, with audio-only sessions available as an alternative for patients who cannot access video.

• Implement time-sensitive, goal-oriented, skill-based therapy utilizing evidence-based methods such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation.

• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups.

• Offer support and advocacy to caregivers and family members of individuals with dementia and serious mental health conditions.

• Record treatment responses and monitor clinical symptoms within the EMR.

• Engage in daily team huddles and identify social determinants of health needs for the care team to address.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in Pennsylvania and New Jersey is mandatory.

• Ability to bill Medicare is required.

• Experience in providing psychotherapy through telehealth services.

• Background in screening, assessing, and planning treatment for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based brief behavioral interventions, including motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatment, and behavioral activation.

• A secure home workspace and dependable internet connection are essential.

• Computer equipment will be supplied.

• Approximately 20 hours of work per week, subject to variation based on patient demand.
