Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-informed family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses within a virtual clinic environment.

• Utilize family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-supported approaches.

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 clients, with an expectation of providing 20-26 hours of direct care while allocating remaining time for administrative duties.

• Engage in initial and ongoing training opportunities.

• Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprised of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.

• Maintain licensure in your home state and procure licensure in additional states as requested by Equip (licensure expenses will be reimbursed by Equip).

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Texas.

• Capability to support a diverse caseload of patients of all ages, with co-occurring conditions, varying backgrounds and cultures, and differing levels of acuity.

• Commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.

• Availability to deliver care two evenings per week (until 8 PM in the primary time zone of your patient caseload).

• Enthusiastic and effective team collaborator.

• Ability to safely and efficiently provide care in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to mental health and eating disorder treatment, along with a drive to broaden access to care.

• Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment is a plus.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods and/or intensive treatment environments is advantageous.
