This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver evidence-informed therapy for families, individuals, and groups dealing with eating disorders and related diagnoses in a virtual clinic (telehealth) environment.
• Apply family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other research-supported interventions for patients of all ages and their families facing eating disorders.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, with an expected workload of 20-26 hours of direct patient care, while allocating remaining time for administrative duties.
• Engage in both initial and ongoing training opportunities.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize messaging between sessions to assist patients and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR, following Equip’s established policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental gatherings.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and pursue licensure in other states as required by Equip (licensing costs will be covered by Equip).
• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent psychotherapy license in Tennessee.
• Capability to manage a diverse caseload of patients across all age groups, with co-occurring conditions, various backgrounds, cultures, and differing levels of acuity.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment practices.
• Availability to provide care two evenings per week (which entails being accessible until 8 PM in the primary time zone of your patient caseload).
• A motivated and effective team player.
• Competence in safely delivering care in a virtual setting.
• A deep passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment, along with a commitment to enhancing access to care.
• Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment (preferred).
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and/or intensive treatment environments (preferred).
