This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe medications, and monitor outcomes through telemedicine.
• Recommend adjustments to treatment plans based on patient reactions to medications and treatment results.
• Collaborate with Journey Clinical's member psychotherapists for integrated care.
• Coordinate with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to help improve our services.
• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and work alongside the leadership team and co-founders.
• Must be licensed to practice in Georgia.
• Possess Washington DEA registration.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.
• Minimum 1 year of experience related to psychiatry plus post-boards.
• Must be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate.
• Must be comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression.
• Ability to quickly integrate medical and psychiatric information about patients to create effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations.
• Patient-first attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
• Willingness to utilize various straightforward tools to enhance efficiency (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced telehealth startup environment.
• Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy as a means to transform mental health care.
