Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver essential clinical supervision as required by the board to associate-level clinicians pursuing full licensure.

• Assist associates in providing telehealth services to the Medicaid community.

• Supervise in accordance with professional judgment and the guidelines set forth by the Virginia board.

• Mentor the upcoming generation of clinicians as they navigate the licensure process.

• Ensure adherence to documentation and compliance standards for Medicaid-related work.

• Work collaboratively with associates as they enhance their clinical competencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active LPC license in good standing in Virginia, with board endorsement to offer clinical supervision.

• Master’s degree in Counseling.

• Demonstrated success in guiding associates to achieve full licensure.

• Possess malpractice insurance ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).

• Knowledge of clinical documentation and treatment planning in compliance with Medicaid regulations.

• Proficient with EHR systems and other digital resources.

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office equipped with a personal computer and reliable internet for conducting confidential virtual sessions.

• Fluent in English.

• Spanish language skills are preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.

• Extensive clinical experience coupled with strong diagnostic judgment.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively alongside associates.

• Ability to provide constructive developmental feedback.

• Comfort in supporting Medicaid documentation and compliance tasks.
