Licensed Physician, Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical EHR vignettes in conjunction with questions, suggested answers, and misleading distractor options related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Evaluate the quality of clinical reasoning, the accuracy and completeness of vignettes, the correctness and gradeability of answers, and the quality of distractors.

• Determine if reasoning chains derive answers solely from the facts presented in the vignettes.

• Adjust reasoning paths and compose concise rationales.

• Operate within three independent blind reviews followed by physician adjudication.

• Fulfill project responsibilities within the defined timeline and specified acceptance criteria.

• Engage in a project-based AI evaluation initiative aimed at testing, assessing, and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently practicing physician with a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the US, verified during onboarding and re-checked monthly.

• Board certification or completion of residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level preferred.

• Extensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.

• Previous experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Proficient written English skills (C1+).

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or non-clinical healthcare roles.
