This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Delivers diagnostic and therapeutic services in line with the general standards set for mental health professionals.
• Offers individual and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families.
• Oversees caseload management and other responsibilities to fulfill both qualitative and quantitative performance standards.
• Conducts crisis assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Adheres to and maintains the ethical standards and guidelines of the profession.
• Records work in accordance with the standards required for diagnostic evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge procedures, and other consumer-related activities.
• Engages in educational and other endeavors essential for maintaining clinical competency.
• Actively contributes to clinical team and staff meetings.
• Supports team members and engages in team activities to foster a high-performance environment.
• Communicates efficiently and collaborates effectively with others.
• Must hold a license in Maryland; preference given to candidates with licenses in two additional states.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-graduation.
• Clinical training should encompass instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
• Capable of providing precise client assessments, including diagnosis, risk levels, substance abuse evaluations, and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
• Proficient in crisis intervention.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in solution-focused, brief therapy within an outpatient context.
• Effectively manages time to handle caseload and documentation.
• Achieves productivity goals and meets quality management standards.
• Builds effective working relationships with colleagues across organizational boundaries.
• Flexible and adapts well to new situations and shifting priorities.
• Familiar with computers and Microsoft software applications.
• Knowledgeable about the standards and ethical principles specific to the discipline.
