Licensed Mental Health Therapist – North Carolina

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth services remotely to adolescent and young adult clients.

• Enhance the mental health and substance use programs at Charlie Health.

• Provide exceptional mental health care in a virtual environment.

• Conduct group sessions and foster strong relationships with clients, capping groups at 8 clients.

• Engage in case discussions and work collaboratively with fellow clinicians.

• Undertake comprehensive work to facilitate lasting healing.

• Maintain availability based on part-time or full-time scheduling requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an independent or associate licensure in North Carolina.

• Accepted licenses include: LCSW-A, LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT.

• Licensed or pre-licensed mental health clinician; candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

• Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required.

• Experience working with teens and young adults is essential.

• Proficient and confident in integrating various modalities, including DBT, CBT, and EMDR.

• MI certification is an advantage.

• Must be passionate and skilled in providing group services.

• Availability during evenings is necessary to accommodate client needs; evening availability is mandatory for full-time positions.

• Part-time commitment of at least 12 hours per week is required.

• Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week is expected.

• Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox is essential.

• Experience with EMR and outcomes software is preferred.

• Must be collaborative, creative, and engaging on video calls.
