Licensed Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote telehealth services to adolescent and young adult clients in a virtual environment.

• Enhance the mental health and substance use programs at Charlie Health.

• Provide exceptional mental health care.

• Engage in case discussions and collaborate with fellow clinicians.

• Foster strong client relationships and conduct thorough work to enable lasting healing.

• Maintain consistent weekly schedules and manageable caseloads.

• Available for part-time or full-time work on a W-2 basis.

• Commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week for part-time or 40 hours per week for full-time.

• Ensure evening availability to meet full-time client needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an independent or associate licensure in New York.

• Accepted licenses include: Pre-Licensed Social Workers, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT-D.

• Licensed or pre-licensed mental health clinician; all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

• Hold a Master’s degree in mental health or a related field.

• Experience working with youth and young adults is highly preferred.

• Availability for 12–40 hours per week, depending on whether the position is part-time or full-time W-2.

• Full-time evening availability is a requirement.

• Proficient and confident in integrating various modalities, including DBT and CBT; EMDR experience is desirable.

• Certification in Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a plus.

• Experience with teenagers and young adults.

• Demonstrated passion and skill in group service delivery.

• Collaborative, creative, and engaging in video interactions.

• Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox.

• Knowledge of EMR and outcomes software.
