Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Provide remote mental health treatment from a dedicated home workspace.

• Offer care to patients of all ages.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Create treatment plans.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to meet treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Potentially acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

• Engage in the application review and recruitment process, including filling out a post-application questionnaire.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s level degree and relevant licensure.

• Candidates for LMHC and LMFT must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Cannot support employment authorization linked to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• A private home workspace that meets patient safety and HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish is preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a benefit.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness and ability to complete 30 client care hours weekly.

• Experience with patients facing chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as necessary for expansion.
