Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-based therapy for adult clients aged 18 and older, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI.

• Manage a caseload of 7 to 20 ongoing therapy sessions each week.

• Leverage data to inform effective treatment and modify approaches according to client progress.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed and make referrals when appropriate.

• Keep progress notes and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.

• Conduct therapy sessions and assessments for new clients on an ongoing basis.

• Complete, sign, and secure all documentation in the EMR within 48 hours of client interaction.

• Engage in required training and ongoing support initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a valid license in Washington as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

• Demonstrated willingness and motivation to obtain licensure in additional states.

• Availability for 8 to 24 hours per week, with 85% of this time dedicated to client sessions.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with adults aged 18 and older.

• At least six months of experience in teletherapy.

• Proficient in clinical assessments such as PHQ-9 for monitoring client progress.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Select 7 to 10 session hours between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.

• Be available during standard business hours for at least 1 hour per week during the initial 6 weeks for training, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support.

• Ensure documentation is completed, signed, and secured in the EMR within 48 hours following client contact.

• Capability to deliver evidence-based therapy to adult clients.

• Understanding of HIPAA and relevant state regulations.
