Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health’s telehealth initiative.

• Provide empathetic and high-quality mental health care from a remote setting.

• Deliver care to patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with patients enrolled in commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Conduct thorough assessments and formulate treatment plans.

• Team up with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Employ telehealth software, video communication, and internal collaboration tools.

• Potentially secure additional state licenses as Brave Health grows into new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and applicable licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Designated workspace at home that ensures privacy for patient safety and complies with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficient in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal collaboration tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to fulfill 30 client care hours weekly.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Current independent clinical licensure; the role title specifies LMFT.
