Licensed Investment Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct investment consultations with clients to evaluate their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment timelines.

• Recommend and sell mutual fund products that align with clients’ needs and objectives.

• Manage and review existing investment portfolios for performance and suitability.

• Provide ongoing guidance and recommendations for portfolio rebalancing.

• Educate clients on various investment options, current market conditions, and strategies for long-term wealth accumulation.

• Ensure compliance with FINRA regulations, company policies, and state licensing requirements.

• Generate new business opportunities through referrals, agency cross-selling, and proactive outreach to clients.

• Collaborate with the agency team to identify investment opportunities within the current client base.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions, client interactions, and compliance documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) — Required.

• Series 6 (Investment Company/Variable Contracts Products Representative) — Required.

• Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) — Required.

• Previous experience in investing and managing mutual funds — Required.

• Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning principles, and suitability standards.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.

• Detail-oriented with robust organizational and compliance habits.

• Series 65 or Series 66 license (preferred).

• Experience working within a captive insurance agency model (preferred).

• Background in cross-selling insurance and financial services (preferred).
