Associate, Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in financial planning, analytics, and providing business insights for Corporate, Operations, and Technology departments.

• Collaborate with Finance leaders on business evaluations, annual forecasts, and strategic alliances with business leadership.

• Develop reports and analytical insights regarding business expenditure patterns and forecasts.

• Deliver presentations of findings to various leadership levels.

• Formulate data-driven recommendations and business insights for senior executives involved in pricing decisions.

• Aid in the development of models and tools for business insights, competitive analysis, and scenario planning.

• Work together with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams on portfolio strategies for each Oscar market.

• Investigate profitability trade-offs, market trends, and membership insights.

• Gather, organize, and analyze data for strategic initiatives.

• Track metrics and trends in the ACA landscape to inform strategies for the selling season.

• Provide intra-year membership analytics reports to leadership.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 4 years of finance experience, including roles in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance, or Financial Services.

• At least 2 years of experience with Google products—Sheets, Docs, and Slides—or Microsoft products.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience collaborating with C-level executives.
