This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver therapy and support to students utilizing the TimelyCare virtual care platform.
• Assess client needs, collaborate to establish treatment objectives, and create treatment plans.
• Direct clients to other relevant TimelyCare services, such as Medical and Psychiatry.
• Offer therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning primarily to a young adult demographic.
• Concurrently document and submit HIPAA-compliant records within TimelyCare’s electronic health system.
• Create and present treatment plans and progress notes following each session.
• Communicate effectively across teams and departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Set treatment goals with students and document them appropriately.
• Employ active listening and evidence-based techniques to foster rapport, establish boundaries, and enhance care.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation in the TimelyCare platform.
• Adapt to evolving population needs and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
• Respond with empathy and professionalism while exemplifying respectful behavior.
• Required: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Active State License in Massachusetts.
• Valid U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not available.
• Strong skills in clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening.
• Experience in crisis intervention/de-escalation as well as safety and treatment planning.
• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk groups, community mental health, crisis triage, or in a college counseling setting.
• Preferred: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP).
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices including SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT.
• Capability to establish treatment goals, boundaries, and therapeutic rapport.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing population needs.
• Ability to remain calm during high-stress situations.
• Display empathy, professionalism, and respectful conduct.
• Skill in submitting timely HIPAA-compliant EHR documentation and progress notes.
• Adherence to documentation standards and the code of ethics.
• Malpractice insurance is provided.
