This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Deliver therapy and support to students utilizing the TimelyCare virtual care platform.
• Assess student needs, collaborate on treatment objectives, and formulate treatment plans.
• Direct students to suitable TimelyCare services, such as Medical and Psychiatry.
• Offer therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning predominantly for young adults.
• Concurrently document and submit HIPAA-compliant records in TimelyCare's electronic health record system.
• Create and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session.
• Engage in cross-functional communication with other teams and departments to facilitate continued care.
• Comply with documentation quality standards and adhere to the code of ethics.
• Implement evidence-based modalities to foster rapport, establish boundaries, and enhance student care.
• Respond with empathy and professionalism while maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• An active state license in Maine is required.
• Additional state licensures are advantageous.
• Preferred qualifications include being a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP).
• Strong skills in clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening are essential.
• Experience in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety/treatment planning is required.
• Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, or at-risk populations, as well as experience in community mental health, crisis triage, or college counseling.
• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities, including SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT.
• Ability to submit timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the TimelyCare electronic health record.
• Capability to adapt to evolving population needs.
• Maintain calm and composure during high-stress scenarios.
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and respectful interactions with students, peers, and support staff.
• Valid U.S. work authorization is necessary; sponsorship is not available.
• Remote care from the comfort of your home or professional office.
• Flexible hours; independent contracted therapists can create their own schedules from Monday to Sunday.
• No responsibilities for reimbursement, billing codes, or insurance credentialing.
• Students can access services without insurance or expensive co-pays.
• Professional boundaries in place to protect therapists' phone numbers and email addresses.
• Malpractice insurance is provided.
• Partial compensation for late cancellations and no-shows.
