Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NY License – Full Time or Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive behavioral health services for prevalent primary-care issues such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders through a virtual collaborative teletherapy approach.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments that adhere to evidence-based practices.

• Offer counseling and therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.

• Function as an individual, family, and group therapist.

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, implementation, documentation, and necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the healthcare team to address treatment barriers.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Exhibit cultural competency and a strong commitment to diversity.

• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations.

• Manage a caseload of 15–20 patients each week, with a minimum of 5 patients daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• A clinical social work license in New York and/or New Jersey is required.

• A Medicaid Provider Number is necessary.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3000 hours of post-Master’s social work experience qualifying for licensure is required.

• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients is essential.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is expected.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must.

• A profound understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of health and illness is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

• Excellent short-term counseling skills are necessary.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development as mandated by the licensing board is required.
