Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NY License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive behavioral health services for prevalent primary-care issues such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders through a collaborative teletherapy model in a virtual primary-care setting.

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations in accordance with evidence-based practices.

• Offer counseling and therapeutic services utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Function as an individual, family, and group therapist.

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, execution, documentation, and related paperwork promptly.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the care team to address treatment barriers.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Exhibit cultural competency and a strong commitment to diversity.

• Respond swiftly to urgent or emergency situations.

• Manage a caseload of 15–20 patients weekly, with a minimum of 5 patients daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical social work license in New York and/or New Jersey is mandatory.

• Medicaid Provider Number is required.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work is essential.

• At least 3000 hours of post-Master’s social work experience qualifying for licensure is required.

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patients is necessary.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is important.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills are essential.

• A profound understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of illness and health is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.

• Excellent short-term counseling capabilities are essential.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development as mandated by the licensing board is required.

• Clinical Social Worker licensure must be held in the state of practice.
