This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals (including MDs and Dietitians) to deliver a thorough and coordinated approach to member care.
• Employing evidence-based clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to develop and implement relevant and actionable goals that assist clients in achieving significant outcomes related to their gastrointestinal conditions.
• Initiating and maintaining health records and encounters in the electronic health record system while adhering to the guidelines specified in company clinical protocols and other related manuals.
• Engaging in professional training activities to uphold licensure and expand knowledge.
• Participating in clinical coordination meetings with fellow care team members.
• Contributing to the organization-wide establishment of psychological best practices and sharing your professional insights with team members to enhance member experiences.
• Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or another relevant field.
• Active license to practice therapy in good standing (LCSW).
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that affect the brain-gut connection, and Motivational Interviewing (experience with GI-focused care is advantageous).
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other care providers (e.g., MD, Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian).
• Proficient and comfortable with common administrative technologies (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), electronic charting, and experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, along with annual bonus eligibility.
