This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers, including MDs and Dietitians, within a digital integrated healthcare environment to offer a comprehensive and coordinated approach to member care.
• Employ evidence-based clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation techniques (including diaphragmatic breathing and progressive muscle relaxation), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (covering the brain-gut connection and coping with chronic illness), and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to establish and implement relevant, concrete goals that assist clients in achieving significant outcomes related to their GI conditions.
• Initiate and maintain health records and encounters in the electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with the guidelines set forth in company clinical protocols and other related manuals.
• Engage in professional training activities to uphold licensure and enhance knowledge in the field.
• Attend clinical coordination meetings with other members of the care team.
• Contribute to the development of psychological best practices across the company and provide feedback to share your professional insights with team members, thereby improving member experiences.
• A Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• An active license to practice therapy in good standing (LPC Counseling Compact only).
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that influence the brain-gut connection, and utilizing Motivational Interviewing (experience in GI-focused care is advantageous).
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other care providers, such as MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and Registered Dietitians.
• Proficient and comfortable with using standard administrative technologies (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), including electronic charting; experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
