Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – LCPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program.

• Provide empathetic, high-quality mental health care remotely.

• Serve a diverse patient population across all age groups.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their personal goals.

• Identify and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools throughout the workday.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Potential to obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health enters new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• No employment authorization linked to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• A private workspace at home that meets patient safety and HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to provide 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients daily.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Current independent clinical licensure, such as LCPC or an equivalent recognized clinical credential.
