This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
β’ Inform consumers about health insurance options available under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
β’ Evaluate coverage requirements for individuals and families, and clarify the available plan selections.
β’ Describe premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and other features of the plans.
β’ Assist consumers in navigating the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment procedures.
β’ Deliver professional and consultative customer service during all consumer interactions.
β’ Keep precise records of customer information, application specifics, and enrollment documentation within company systems.
β’ Follow up with potential and enrolled consumers as necessary.
β’ Achieve sales, conversion, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience targets.
β’ Ensure adherence to CMS, Marketplace, carrier, licensing, and company regulations.
β’ Maintain necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials.
β’ Engage in continuous training, coaching, performance development, and team discussions.
β’ Manage multiple computer systems and applications while providing customer assistance.
β’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Valid Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
β’ Active National Producer Number (NPN).
β’ Newly licensed insurance agents are welcome to apply; prior ACA sales experience is not mandatory.
β’ Previous experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service is preferred.
β’ Ability to complete and maintain all necessary ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting Marketplace enrollments.
β’ Capability to meet applicable carrier contracting and appointment criteria.
β’ Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities.
β’ Comfortable working in a results-oriented and performance-based sales environment.
β’ Must be coachable, reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the insurance industry.
β’ Strong computer navigation skills with the ability to learn and operate across multiple systems.
β’ Ability to work independently while being an active contributor to a remote team setting.
β’ Consistent high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
β’ Capable of maintaining required licensing, certifications, and continuing education obligations.
β’ Willingness to work extra hours, evenings, or weekends when business needs arise, especially during peak Open Enrollment periods.
