This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Educate consumers about the health insurance options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
β’ Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families while outlining the various plan options.
β’ Clarify the details of premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and other plan features.
β’ Assist consumers throughout the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment process.
β’ Deliver professional and consultative customer service.
β’ Keep accurate records of customer information, application details, and enrollment documentation.
β’ Follow up with both prospective and enrolled consumers.
β’ Achieve sales, conversion, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience goals.
β’ Ensure compliance with CMS, Marketplace, carrier, licensing, and company standards.
β’ Maintain necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials.
β’ Engage in ongoing training, coaching, performance development, and team meetings.
β’ Navigate several computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
β’ Active National Producer Number (NPN).
β’ Newly licensed insurance agents are welcome to apply; prior ACA sales experience is not a prerequisite.
β’ Previous experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call centers, or customer service is preferred.
β’ Ability to complete and maintain all required ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting Marketplace enrollments.
β’ Capability to meet all applicable carrier contracting and appointment requirements.
β’ Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities.
β’ Comfortable in a goal-oriented and performance-focused sales environment.
β’ Coachable, reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the insurance industry.
β’ Strong computer navigation skills with the capacity to learn and operate within multiple systems.
β’ Ability to work independently while also contributing to a remote team environment.
β’ Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
β’ Ability to maintain required licensing, certifications, and continuing education obligations.
β’ Willingness to work additional hours, evenings, or weekends as business needs arise, especially during peak Open Enrollment periods.
