This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain a continuous, warm pipeline of legal talent across various levels and specializations, well in advance of roles becoming available.
• Utilize Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, legal directories (such as Chambers, Legal 500, and Martindale-Hubbell), bar association databases, and specialized platforms to identify passive candidates.
• Analyze the legal talent landscape by firm, practice area, and geographical location to guide hiring strategies and forecast future requirements.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with prospective candidates, ensuring their engagement even during periods without immediate openings.
• Conceptualize and implement innovative campaigns to enhance our visibility as an employer of choice within the legal sector.
• Collaborate with marketing to create compelling employer brand content aimed at legal professionals, including thought leadership pieces, videos, and social media initiatives.
• Engage with law schools, bar associations, legal networks, and diversity organizations to establish early-career pipelines and advocate for the firm.
• Participate in and present at legal conferences, networking events, and industry panels to strengthen brand presence and generate sourcing leads.
• Explore unconventional sourcing channels such as niche legal forums, alumni networks, podcast communities, CLEs, and law review networks.
• Initiate and oversee a legal-focused employee referral program with targeted incentives.
• Collaborate closely with legal department heads and hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of role requirements, team culture, and long-term talent needs.
• Manage the complete recruitment process for all legal roles, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, feedback coordination, offer management, and pre-boarding.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every interaction, reflecting our values and dedication to excellence.
• Negotiate and manage offers in conjunction with HR and compensation teams.
• Monitor and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and diversity metrics for all legal positions.
• Leverage data to identify gaps, optimize sourcing strategies, and build a business case for new methods or tools.
• Keep detailed records in the ATS and ensure data integrity across all candidate activities.
• A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, either in-house or at an agency, with a strong emphasis on the legal sector.
• Proven track record in proactive sourcing and developing passive candidate pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of legal roles, practice areas, and the legal talent marketplace.
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter, legal directories, and Boolean search techniques.
• Ability to build trust with senior legal professionals who often have limited time.
• Strong data literacy, comfortable with tracking metrics and deriving insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
