Legal Subject Matter Expert – UAE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Deliver expert analysis on commercial, corporate, regulatory, and compliance issues within the UAE.

• Conduct thorough research on UAE federal laws, emirate-specific requirements, regulatory guidelines, and pertinent court rulings.

• Examine cases related to commercial fraud, corporate misconduct, compliance responsibilities, and regulatory inquiries.

• Review and assess commercial contracts, corporate documents, compliance protocols, and regulatory resources.

• Annotate and verify Arabic and/or English legal datasets.

• Assess AI-generated legal responses for accuracy concerning jurisdiction and legal reasoning.

• Confirm statutory references and legal terminology.

• Prepare legal summaries, memoranda, contract provisions, and structured compliance assessments.

• Work in partnership with AI teams on the development of prompts and evaluation of models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Attorney, JD/LL.M. graduate, Senior Legal Researcher, or well-experienced Paralegal.

• At least 3+ years of pertinent experience in UAE legal practice, research, drafting, compliance, or advisory roles.

• In-depth understanding of UAE commercial law, corporate compliance, commercial fraud, or regulatory issues.

• Proficiency in Arabic and/or English; bilingual candidates fluent in both Arabic and English are highly preferred.

• Strong skills in legal research, statutory analysis, citation verification, and drafting.

• Familiarity with UAE regulatory bodies and legal research tools.

• Knowledge of DIFC or ADGM frameworks is advantageous.

• Experience with Generative AI, legal technology, or prompt engineering is a plus.
