Legal Subject Matter Expert, Brazil

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer expert knowledge in Brazilian corporate and commercial law

• Conduct research on federal, state, and municipal laws and administrative regulations

• Examine cooperative governance and regulatory standards

• Review commercial contracts, corporate documents, legal opinions, and regulatory materials

• Annotate and validate legal datasets in Portuguese

• Verify citations, statutory interpretations, and legal terminology

• Assess AI-generated outputs and identify incorrect or unsupported legal conclusions

• Draft and review legal summaries, commercial clauses, and structured legal analyses

• Work in collaboration with AI teams on legal prompts and evaluation methods

⛳️ Requirements

• Brazilian-qualified Attorney (OAB), law graduate, Senior Legal Researcher, or seasoned Paralegal

• At least 3+ years of applicable Brazilian legal experience

• Comprehensive understanding of corporate law, commercial issues, cooperative regulations, and/or municipal legislation

• Proficiency in professional Portuguese

• Exceptional skills in legal research, drafting, statutory analysis, and citation verification

• English proficiency is an advantage

• Familiarity with Brazilian legal research tools and court/regulatory databases

• Experience with generative AI is a plus
