Legal Nurse Researcher – Life Care Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical and billing records to pinpoint relevant diagnoses, treatment histories, procedures, and case particulars.

• Facilitate the connection between recommended or completed care and injuries, diagnoses, and case facts.

• Differentiate pre-existing medical conditions from injuries related to the case when substantiated by the records.

• Assist in developing life care plans, medical cost projections, narrative reports, and comparative analysis tables.

• Generate cost projection tables as necessary.

• Document clear notes in case records to enhance report development and case assessments.

• Participate in scheduled consultation calls and evaluations with Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) experts when required.

• Contribute to medical problem-solving, research, and analysis for assigned cases.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical, clinical, or related healthcare fields.

• Background in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center, or similar healthcare environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, treatment records, and clinical documentation.

• Proficient in reviewing substantial volumes of electronic medical records to extract pertinent case information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
