This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Convert legal reasoning, workflows, and procedural requirements into organized AI-driven systems.
• Create decision trees, escalation frameworks, workflow logic, and prompt structures specifically for family law processes.
• Work alongside attorneys and operational teams to discover opportunities for automation and enhance processes.
• Assist in structuring and maintaining repositories of institutional legal knowledge, workflow playbooks, and operational guidance systems.
• Develop and enhance AI prompts, retrieval systems, and workflow orchestration logic.
• Aid in the creation of AI-based intake systems, document automation workflows, and client communication platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and AI engineers during implementation and testing phases.
• Help establish quality assurance, human-review, and escalation protocols for AI-generated outputs.
• Monitor AI outputs to ensure consistency, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Engage in testing, iteration, and optimization of AI-supported legal workflows.
• Assist in documenting legal workflows, system logic, and governance procedures.
• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies, trends in legal tech, and changing regulatory considerations affecting AI in legal services.
• Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, legal operations experience, or equivalent practical experience in legal workflows.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, workflow design, legal process engineering, product operations, or related areas.
• Strong comprehension of legal workflows, procedural systems, and the design of operational processes.
• Outstanding analytical skills and systems thinking capabilities.
• Ability to translate intricate legal concepts into structured workflows and operational frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and project management expertise.
• Comfortable in highly collaborative, cross-functional work environments.
• A keen interest and enthusiasm for AI, automation, and the future landscape of legal services.
