Legal Counsel, English and French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate various contractual agreements with the company’s partners while actively participating in meetings.

• Address internal and external inquiries, providing advice on contract terms and conditions, including but not limited to commercial matters, data protection, and intellectual property.

• Manage the contract review and escalation processes to ensure compliance with legal and business standards.

• Interpret and clarify contractual terms to meet regional legal and business requirements.

• Collaborate with other business areas to develop and implement legal playbooks.

• Clearly articulate contract terminology and conduct legal training sessions and workshops for internal teams, offering general guidance on relevant subjects.

• Assist in managing high-volume legal demands from various business units, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

• Anticipate, identify, and mitigate legal risks and potential contingencies, proposing preventive measures to avoid legal disputes.

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing timely legal counsel to business areas to advance the company's objectives and protect its interests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Law Degree (obtained in any European Country).

• Proficiency in contract law, risk assessment, data protection, and legal negotiations.

• 6+ years of demonstrated work experience in a law firm or in-house legal positions within multinational companies.

• Experience in contract review, negotiation, and providing general legal advisory.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, demonstrating diplomacy and flexibility.

• Comprehensive understanding of contract terms and conditions with the ability to work across various countries.

• Familiarity with AI and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Skill in explaining complex issues in a clear, simple, and concise manner to all organizational levels.

• Solid judgment and business acumen.

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and efficient.

• Native or Fluent English and French is required.

• Strong organizational abilities to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
